Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı and Dr. Gülsüm Akbulut attended the reception held in Ankara to mark the 66th birthday of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan, graciously hosted by H.E. Ambassador Masami Tamura and Mrs. Miki Tamura.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for diplomatic engagement and reflection on the strong and long-standing relations between Japan and Türkiye.

Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı and Dr. Gülsüm Akbulut were pleased to host H.E. Clare Brosnan, Ambassador of Ireland, at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ).

We provided an overview of ODTÜ’s academic profile and exchanged views on Türkiye–Ireland relations in the context of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations. We also explored the ODTÜ Culture and Convention Center as a potential venue for a joint commemorative event.

As ANKUDA, we met with former Central Bank Governor Mr. Durmuş Yılmaz on December 12 and held an in-depth discussion on current economic issues.

On Dec 5, Prof. Bağcı addressed the audience at the MCC Szabadkai Training Center in Subotica, Serbia, on “Turkey’s Geopolitical Balancing Act: Swing Policy or Strategy?”

On 3 December, Prof. Bağcı spoke at a panel titled “The Middle East: Is Peace Possible?” at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in Budapest.

On 1 December, ANKUDA CEO Dr. Gülsüm Akbulut and Prof.Dr.Bağcı visited Sweden’s Ambassador to Ankara, Malena Mård, at her residence. We are grateful for her warm hospitality and for our enriching conversation on future academic cooperation

The meeting between Berlin Global Advisors and ANKUDA in Berlin on 27 November provided valuable insights into the future of German–Turkish relations. During the dinner event, held under the theme “Türkiye’s Role in the Emerging Global Order,” participants engaged in an in-depth exchange of views. Dr. Ralf Welt delivered the opening remarks.

As ANKUDA, we met with Dr. Oliver Ernst at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin on 26 November. We discussed potential areas of cooperation and explored opportunities for joint projects.

On 26 November, as ANKUDA, we visited our former Ambassador to Berlin, Mr. Başar Şen, at his office in the newly established Turkish–German Economic Council in Berlin. We held discussions on the state of Turkish–German economic relations.

As the ANKUDA team, we met with Alper Üçok, TÜSİAD’s Representative in Berlin. We discussed recent economic developments in Germany and Europe. His valuable insights and forward-looking assessments are highly appreciated.

On 25 November, we are at the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum, one of the world’s leading high-level conferences.

Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı and Dr. Gülsüm Akbulut attended the 54th National Day celebration of the Sultanate of Oman.

Ambassador Selçuk Ünal welcomed Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı at the Turkish Embassy in China during his visit to attend the conference titled “High-Quality Development of the Belt and Road Initiative: Concepts and Actions,” organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı visited our Ambassador in Bucharest, Mr. Özgür Kıvanç Altan. We thank the Ambassador for his warm hospitality.

Prof. Bağcı delivered a speech at the “Dialogues on China / 2025” conference held in Belgrade.
